Context is everything

From this morning's testimony:
"It did not warn of attacks inside the United States," Rice insisted. "It was historical information based on old reporting. There was no new threat information. And it did not, in fact, warn of any coming attacks inside the United States."
Rice was talking about a briefing titled "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States", given to the President on August 6, 2001. But she could just as easily, from everything I've seen, make the same claim about almost everything in the administration's rhetoric about intelligence information concerning Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, between October 2002 and March 2003.
