Of these, I claim Iowa by virtue of a train ride that took me through the merest corner of the state; and California only by way of a brief day-trip from Yuma to an Indian reservation. Arkansas was a drive-through; Texas, an occasional stopover in the Panhandle; and Montana, another day-trip while on a week's visit to Wyoming. Still, it's quite a collection.
